Villa Curiel has been given a new life thanks to the restoration of a mansion built in the 60s. From the hilltop of CASTAGNETO CARDUCCI the villa overlooks the country of the famous D.O.C BOLGHERI wine region as well as the Mediterranean islands of Corsica, Capraia and Gorgona.
The Villa is a stone's throw away from the medieval center of the village and it is easly accessible by car. It is the ideal destination for any kind of vacation where you can totally relax after a stressuful working day, a day spent at the beach or sightseeing our beautiful Tuscany.
We offer accomodation with breakfast in a cozy modern house decorated with design furniture and vintage details that give the villa a very original atmosphere. Villa CURIEL is provided with spacious panoramic rooms and a peaceful outdoor area equipped with sauna, plants and flowers. It is the perfect location to sit down and admire stunning sunsets while drinking a good Bolgheri wine.
The position
Castagneto Carducci is among the most well-known villages of the "Costa Degli Etruschi", so called the northern part of the Tuscan Maremma.
Perched on top of a hill (190 m.s.l.m.) 6 km from the Tirrenian Sea, it is built around the imposing medieval castle, still owned by the noble Della Gherardesca family.
Today the village is a quiet place, with its small town center made up of narrow alleys, beautiful squares with different pleasant panoramic points and characteristic shops. It is a country on a human scale, perfect for a beach holiday or to visit its splendid countryside dotted with the famous wine cellars of D.O.C. Bolgheri: in fact, in addition to the “Blue Flag”, synonymous of excellence in sea water and tourist services, which the municipality has held since 1994, from some years it has also boasted the “Spiga Verde”, a further eco-label that attests to the quality of campaign and the sustainability of agricultural processes, as well as the enhancement of natural areas.
The village of Castagneto is ideal for spending a relaxing evening, perhaps returning from a day at the beach, for an aperitif or dinner.
